We have been lucky enough to have been involved in some exciting SIPs projects over the years which saw us host Kevin McCloud and the Grand Design TV crew at our factory in Perthshire in 2017 and then we supplied and erected the SIPs kit for the RIAS House of the Year in 2018. Due to the extensive experience we have acquired over the years in the SIPs house building industry, this experience has allowed us to build on our enviable reputation as a SIPs house building specialist and grow and develop the range of services we can offer our clients.
Cost Plans and Estimating Budgets
From plot purchase and planning through to costs for groundworks, the supply and erection of your SIPs kit to all the internal and external finishing’s, JML offer expert assistance with your project’s cost plan. This is essential to completing your project within your proposed budget.
Architectural Services
We work alongside many architects and also have our own in-house designers and CAD resources who can convert any early schematics or sketches into workable building plans suitable for submission for outline or detailed planning stages. We also have a range of standard house designs for those preferring an off-the-shelf design solution.
Foundations & Groundworks
As a SIPs kit manufacturer, JML SIPs are unique in that they also have their own in-house civils team allowing them to offer full foundation and site works packages along with the supply and erection of their SIPs kits. This allows us to have full quality control over our client’s projects to ensure each stage of the build runs seamlessly.
SIPs Factory
JML SIPs have their own SIPs processing facility in Central Scotland. Here we are able to engineer and fabricate all our house kits, allowing us fully quality control over the whole SIPs building process.
SIPs Kit Erection Service
We work flexibly with our clients to fulfil a variety of build stages dependant on the requirements of their projects. We can carry out a full foundations, SIPs kit supply and erection service for our clients or a simple supply only allowing local joiners to erect their kits for them.
Health & Safety, Accreditations & Awards
JML SIPs embed quality, health & Safety and environmental best practice system into our core practices and this is evidenced by the extensive external accreditations we have achieved. We build all our SIPs kits with panels certified by the highly regarded British Board of Agrement (BBA).
We hold a host of industry and health and safety accreditations including 9001, 14001 and 18001 ISO accreditations, we are Gold Assure members of the Structural Building Association, members of TRADA and CHAS. We have also been recognised within the house building industry, winning the Best SIPs Home award in 2018 at the national Build It awards and we have more recently reached the final of the 2020 Housebuilding & Renovating Awards.

JML SIPs provided a first class service in building our four-bedroom house in Moray. We were highly impressed with the design consultant who listened to our requests, came back with drawings and ideas and with us decided on the house that woud meet all our needs. It is not too much to say that we enjoyed the journey. During the build the workmen were well mannered and hard working.
